Sara Vann, Ed. D, is a lifelong learner and dedicated educator with over 25 years of leadership experience in urban school districts, including New York City Public Schools. She has served as a staff development facilitator, school principal, program evaluator, and district leader, showcasing her commitment to enhancing organizations at all levels. With a specialization in curriculum development, small-group training, and qualitative research and evaluation, Sara brings a wealth of knowledge and versatility to her work, always focused on fostering growth and improvement.
Sara passionately believes in the power of a shared voice as the cornerstone of effective leadership. Guided by her principle that everyone deserves to be seen and heard, she emphasizes collaboration in all her efforts. A graduate of Vassar College, she holds Master’s degrees from The City College of New York and Bank Street College, and a doctorate degree from Russell Sage College, where she focused her research on shared leadership.
